I was from the OFO, but I was one of the way older members who joined in like May 2009, and left in Feb 2011. Though certain friends I made from the newer group introduced me to the entire newer group, and the newer group introduced me to this forum.

If you look around in the older topics of the OFO, you'll be sure to find me, I had 11,000+ posts, haha, so it shouldn't be too hard to find me, :P.

My name on the OFO was actually the same name I am using now, Mr. β.
