A bit of an old poem

Scars of mine have been torn open in the past
And I've been able to close them.
But those who tore them weren't the one.
But now they've torn open again,
To where they won't heal.
Could it be that I've finally found the one I've been looking for?
It's possible I've fallen for you, in fact I think I have.
I keep my guard up and you wonder why.
It's because I don't want to be hurt like I have time after time.
I want to tell you that you're the one
But I can't find the words to say.
